Light Impact begain trading in July 2002 and very quickly became the largest supplier of Himalayan Salt products, mainly lamps, in the UK.

This year, 2007, as we continue to grow and naturally diversify more towards body care and edible salt, we have changed our name to The Himalayan Salt Company. With our unique products and position in the market place we feel that it better describes the company.
